Prehispanic metal objects found near Baja

In part of an interview with Harumi Fujita on Archaeological Finds on Baja, Harumi said the following (speaking of the Babisuri Site on Espíritu Santo Island):
"As I mentioned before, a burial (adult male) was found in a flexed position associated with numerous metal objects and Comondú-type projectile points. The AMS radiocarbon dating for these human remains is 800 years b.p. (1180 and 1280 A.D.) This means that this Indian was buried before the official discovery of Baja California by the Spaniards. I am investigating the origin of the metals."
